Update on Jan

Hi all. Well, good news. There will be no surgery and the doctor says there is absolutely no evidence of any kind of growth. What he thinks she has is a small herniated disc in the region of the L4. This area is where the nerves for both legs start out and down the legs. The put the MRI and the Mylogram up together and he could not see anything that he would consider operating on at this time.. They are going to give her a shot of steroids in that area and he says he is confident that it will take care of the problem. All the pain and the leg buckling under her was caused by the pressure on the nerve.. We will keep you informed but hopefully the next one you get will be from Jan... Thanks for all the care. JOHN

Very glad to hear that it's not as serious as you feared. Jan, I hope the steroids do the trick for you. Back pain is really terrible to live with.

xxoxx,

Ann
