Fisher Gettogether
Hi all. My brother let me know last Friday that only one cabin was still available at the Ponderosa State Park at the time we want to have our get together. It looks as though we will have to use the other accomodadtions such as Motels etc. I am looking at the present economy and I know it is going to be hard for some to be able to make it next July. If we can still do it, I am hoping to keep the expense at a minimum for those of us who find it difficult. I am hoping to be able to do this but i would like some input from all of you if you think this might be a bad time and want to try again in a better time... I will try to put it together anytime we all feel we can make it. Let me know what your thoughts are.. Thanks... John

i would still like to go but wonder if we should call the park and see what dates all of the cabins are available. it would be much more fun to try to all stay at the park. I have flexibility in my schedule. I do think trying to stay in hotels may get expensive especially added on to airfare. Hope we can work this out..lots of love.....Lisa
I would love to see everyone again (some for the first time)! My schedule is flexible if I have enough notice. If we can't make it work for Idaho, then we can always come up with another location. I'm good with Colorado even....the Rocky Mountain National Park is beautiful!!!! Also....Frontier Days in Jackson Hole Wyoming would be awsome.....;) Always the oakie!!!! Although next year would be better financially for us, we can figure something out...
Hi dear family. Let's move ahead with seeing one another this summer somehow. Bummer about that dumb reservation rule in the park. I will ask mom if she has another recommendation. I might not be the best person to take on the organization of this thing this year... but I feel like we should move forward if possible, one way or another.
In the meantime, we are planning to move back to the US next summer, repatriating after 17 years of living overseas. That means you have about 6 months left to come visit us in Indonesia. We'll accept guests gladly in Portland, Oregon too, but cannot promise you'll be blown away by the heat and the exoticism there.
